Thanks to this divine appointment, Cedric was introduced to a whole new world of working security: movie premieres, celebrity fundraisers, American Idol, Cirque du Soleil, and Tiger Woods’ security detail. Cedric and Tony worked together closely for about 8 years, maintaining their friendship thereafter and working a smattering of special events before Cedric fully pursued the development of his own security firm. Frontline Protection Services, Inc. was born in November 2008. Clients include numerous cities and private clients in California, including American Foundation For Suicide Prevention (AFSP). He was most recently asked by Hermosa Beach Chief of Police, Sharon Papa, to provide security detail for Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Community involvement is of great import to Cedric who serves as a member of Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce and California Association of Licensed Security Agencies (CALSAGA).

He began his security career with Andrews International for 15 years, directing security for Hollywood & Highland--sometimes several events in a day. He later served with Security Industry Specialists (SIS) for a brief time before eventually starting his own company. Founded in 2018 as The Drake Group, Inc. (TDG, Inc.), Tony and his managers provide over fifty years of combined experience in all things “serve and protect”. He set out to create a unique and all-encompassing private security firm that would offer services curated to each client’s specific needs with an elevated level of customer service, melding the worlds of physical production and private security. While 2020 was a difficult year for us all, he was blessed to welcome exciting growth, making it possible to expand and diversify TDG, Inc. by re-branding its security arm as Anthony Drake & Associates, otherwise known as AD&A.
